Roche Security, established in 2016 and registered with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority under Section 21 of the Private Security Industry Regulation Act 56 of 2001, is a leading provider of comprehensive security solutions. Originally formed as Poche Trading, Roche Security is a 100% black-owned business entity dedicated to the safety and protection of properties and goods across various sectors, including government departments, private businesses, and other institutions.
SONWABILE ZAMXAKA "Stoan"
Sonwabile started his career as an entrepreneur at the tender age of 14, where he was a radio DJ and producer for Khanya Community Radio station in Butterworth, EC. He then developed and was affectionately known as STOAN by his listeners—a pseudonym he adopted to protect his identity as a young and upcoming socialite. This name began to build his brand as a Radio-DJ, Club DJ, and producer, and the anonymity faded with the rising business prospects.
He joined the SAPS at the age of 17 and has an extensive background in policing. He started his journey in the SAPS as a Constable and was headhunted to be a Police Trainer at SAPS College in Mthatha. He was then appointed as a Community Police Liaison Officer and was also involved as a Communications Officer for his station. Incorporating his background as a radio DJ, he achieved significant success in leading police awareness campaigns against drug abuse.
He has experience in G5 and G7 mining through projects he acquired with municipalities while in KZN and possesses vast knowledge in Safety, Health & Environmental Risk Assessment.
Sonwabile has now embarked on a Security Services career with Roche Security and has integrated his extensive experience and knowledge in security risk and training.
